Alex surveyed the small town, silver orbs taking in every detail. Then, with a sigh, he picked up his suitcases and walked into the apartment building. He pulled a key out of his pocket and unlocked the door to number 1. It appeared he was the first one there. Lucky him.
He glanced around the simple apartment. He would have to ask the owner if he could paint it. The white was just so boring. Like this town. He hoped someone else would arrive soon, then maybe he would have something to do, seeing as Majesty wasn't arriving until the next morning. And the moving van wouldn't be there for a couple hours, so he had time to kill. He could take a drive around the town, he supposed, but there was just so little to it, he doubted that would keep him occupied for long.
Stilts carried him to the bedroom, where he placed his suitcases in a corner. There was nothing else he could do with them. He looked at a mirror on the wall, and once more saw the dark lines around his eyes that proved he was an insomniac. He quickly turned away.
Finding nothing better to do, he settled for going to the local cafe. Surely someone had to be there. He was sure he couldn't be the only one in this town. Sure it was recently built, but there still HAD to be someone living here. He was just the first of the horse owners...
